Nathan's Easter Vest

Instead of taking a WIP picture, I just finished the vest instead! Remember that beautiful custom yarn from Blue Grass Baby a few posts back? Well it has now become this!


I really love the way it worked up, and I can't wait to get started on Noah's now! Thanks Dev!

Sick

It figures, the weather warms up and we get colds! I would have love to spent today outside playing at the park, but instead we all took some rather long naps. Hopefully I'll have some fun spring weather pictures to put up in the next week when our runny noses go away!

In the meantime I have been thinking of spring and working on Nathan's Easter vest. I'll be back tomorrow with some pictures after I finish the back and it doesn't look so bunched up on one circ.

Felted Easter Baskets

I love felting, and I love Easter which made this project lots of fun for me! These coordinating baskets are for sisters, I hope they enjoy them as much as I do!

Making Mischief

A friend of mine, Dev, from Blue Grass Baby, was kind enough to dye me some custom yarn for the boys Easter vests this year. I told her I wanted Monet waterlilies colors, and this is what she came up with
It's absolutely perfect! I can't wait to start knitting the vests as my new Sunday knitting project! (only 10 more rows of the Shalom and I can get started)

WSK Iris socks

First, I need to say that hands down Western Sky Knits colorways have become my new favorite to knit on sock yarn. They just always work up perfectly!

Here are some basic ribbed socks on WSK Iris for Heather. One sock down, almost to the gusset on the second.
